Most of the best Jaws surfers were out there, since It was the first real Jaws swell of the season. Surfers who surf Jaws live to surf Jaws, and they’ve been waiting for this day since the last day of the last year’s season. Now that it’s finally here, you can bet they’re not missing it for the world. Two of those surfers are Kai Lenny and Billy Kemper, a pair that sit side by side on the Jaws throne. And the footage above proves why: Kai and Billy caught back-to-back monsters, both of which could very well be ride of the year contenders.
