When you think of Nazaré, it’s likely that you think of that absolute behemoth of a wave. You know the one—the one that breaks on the cliffs under that iconic lighthouse with a speck of a surfer flying down the impossibly large face. But Nazare is more than just Big Momma. The waves there are really, really good when building-sized is not the wave height you’re looking for. The coastline is stunningly beautiful, and sometimes a few minutes of stupidly pretty footage is just what the doctor ordered.
