Jordy Smith is number one in the world right now. After coming in second place at the Trestles event to an unbeatable Filipe Toledo, the waves in California completely disappeared. So, Jordy being Jordy, he took the opportunity to head over to Wales to surf the Wavegarden. Yeah, the waves don’t look all that great, but they’re in the middle of a field in northern Wales. Seems like as good as place as any to warm up for France. It’s just a jump over the English Channel, after all.
