There are a lot of really good surfers on the North Shore. A lot. More professional-level surfers than pretty much anywhere else on Earth. And of all of them, John John Florence is ahead of the pack. To be at the top of such a high mountain is quite an accomplishment, and he’s up there because of waves like the one above: a six-second barrel that he treats like it ain’t no thang.
