John John Florence is an absolute machine at Margaret River. There’s no two ways about it. Florence has been on a winning streak at there since 2016, winning every heat at the Western Australia competition over the years.
Despite his run of impressive performances, Florence took home his first perfect 10 at Margaret River just last year. At the 2021 Margaret River Pro, Florence was in a heat with Michel Bourez and Mikey Wright when he pulled out a huge barrel at Main Break, earning a 10. Between his barrel riding skills, big carves, and his trademark layback jams, the Hawaiian has become unbeatable at this wave.
