John John Florence has been digging through his archives from the road and come up with some gems. In his third “All The Other Stuff” edit, he combines unused surf clips with behind-the-scenes footage for a look behind the curtain. From touching down in Brazil to surf a heat, to hanging out with Jon Pyzel, to getting a haircut in a backyard, this one’s got a bit of everything that makes JJF JJF.
“Looking through our footage at home, we thought it would be fun to start a little series with some of the moments and waves that were left behind after a year on the road,” explained John John in the first video in the series. What follows are three stream of consciousness edits that blend some pretty incredible surfing footage with all the little moments along the way that make make up a surf trip. They’re the rare edits that capture the feeling of surf travel as much as the actual content itself.
