There is another name to add to the injured list. John John Florence suffered a grade 2 strain to his hamstring while surfing last week. The injury, according to the ASP, puts him out of the Reef Hawaiian Pro but not out of the Billabong Pipe Masters, which is set to run from December 8-20. The injury, however, dramatically diminishes his ability to defend last year’s Triple Crown victory. Replacing John John at the Reef Hawaiian Pro will be local Hawaiian boy Keanu Asing, who will begin his campaign in Heat 9 of Round 3. We are wishing JJF a quick and easy recovery.
