The Inertia

It’s always strikingly satisfying, yet extremely tough to see these kinds of edits from Jeremy. One minute you’re basking in his ravishing technique, and the next you’re wondering what exactly went wrong when he put on that rashie at Snapper. And Bells, for that matter.

Taking an early bow to rookie Kanoa Igarashi at Snapper—and then again to wildcard Mason Ho at Bells the other day— has got to be infuriating for a veteran like him. Unfortunately for Jeremy, there are a multitude of things that can go wrong in a heat. Still, his rocky start to 2016 just goes to show that the rookies and wildcards are out for blood this year. They’re sending guys home who were winning world titles when many of them were still in diapers.
