His list of accomplishments is long: three-time world champ, four-time Pipeline champ, holder of 11 United States National Titles… and that’s just a fraction of them. When it comes to storyboarding, Hubbard is a legend.
So when Jamie O’Brien asked him to head out and try a few board transfers, Hubbard was willing to give it a go, despite the fact that it’s been a long time since he stood up on a surfboard. And the best part? Hubbard and Jamie had a little run-in while Jamie was going under and Hubbard was going down the line.
