Jamie O’Brien is a wave connoisseur. He’s been all over the world, surfed most of the best waves it has to offer, and mastered a handful of them. Of all the waves, though, there’s one he loves more than the rest. It’s the wave he cut his chops on, the wave that made him famous, the wave he spends those long, flat summers dreaming of. It’s Pipeline. He’s surfed it in all conditions: wild and woolly when those big second reefers are mowing through, small and pinching, onshore and off. So when he says “perfect Pipeline looks like this,” you can be sure it’s really, really perfect. Before he surfs it, though, he walks us through Wade Tokoro’s shop, where he grabs his 2021/2022 winter quiver. And what a quiver it is!
