Last week, Jamie O’Brien landed in Tahiti for his latest expedition. We last saw him trek out to the middle of nowhere to tackle what he called the most perfect wave in Tahiti, and now he’s back at it again.
Evidently, that ‘perfect wave’ completely wiped Jamie out, as the video opens up with him sitting in bed, still attempting to recover. However, JOB finally made his way out to the same spot to mine the bountiful resources of the idyllic Tahitian break.
Once they got in the water, endless, barreling lefts abounded, prompting JOB to call it, “Probably the most perfect 1-2 foot wave I’ve ever surfed in my life.” It’s a break so good that literally the only impediment to constant, perfect rides was the limits of O’Brien’s equipment. Leash troubles almost did him in for the day, but not before capturing some excellent footage.
