If you have watched more than one episode of Jamie O’Brien’s vlog, it’s likely you’ve seen his version of couch surfing. It’s the most literal version of it—actually surfing on a couch. But what you may not have seen is just how difficult getting a giant inflatable couch out to the lineup can be. So difficult, in fact, that sometimes even one of the best surfers out at Pipe can’t hack it.
