Kelly Slater has been surfing there since Jamie was just a kid. He won his first Pipe Masters there in 1992, and went on to establish himself as the GOAT.
Despite the fact that both Jamie and Kelly have spent so much time at Pipeline and they both surf for a living, when it comes to surfing, they’re both still just little kids at heart. If the waves are firing, they’re giddy, excited, and freaking out. You would be too if you couldn’t handle one of the best waves on the planet about as well as it can be handled.
