Teahupo’o sure took its sweet time delivering a highly anticipated swell. But as the saying, and probably a bumper sticker, goes, all good things are worth waiting for. When Kelly Slater qualifies it with, “This is probably the best I’ve ever surfed Chopes,” we can’t help but stay glued to the screen. Seriously, some of the waves were downright dreamy, and the world’s best did what every screen-watcher wished they could.
