The Inertia

During flat spells, it takes a certain sort of creativity to come up with an alternate way to get those adrenal glands pumping. Sure you could take out a skateboard or, we don’t know, play a board game, but where’s the fun in that. There’s no indication if the Aussie geniuses in the video above are surfers, but that doesn’t make the activity they’ve pioneered is any less likely to catch fire. It’s called “Swiss ball surfing” and according to Nicholas Smith, this is the furthest distance traveled on rolling exercise balls – 26 of them to be precise. It earned him a Guinness World Record.

Smith filmed the video back in 2017, but after being posted on Reddit this week, the video has gone absolutely viral. Smith has since appeared on Australian news to explain his achievement. With the global attention the video’s received, no doubt copycats will soon try to break Smith’s record.
