Is there such a thing as a bad surf trip? Probably not, unless something goes horribly awry and you end up in a hospital. Even getting skunked on a surf trip doesn’t often ruin a surf trip. The actual surfing on a surf trip, you see, is generally just the icing on the cake. The real good shit comes from the moments in between the waves. Italo Ferreira, Tyler Warren, and Eithan Osborne headed off into the wild blue yonder recently for a trip where they did not get skunked in the slightest—but as is so often the case, the waves look about as good as all the other stuff that went on.
