Isaac Wood is a pretty quiet, contemplative, dude. That was my first impression, at least. We met when down at Bird’s Surf Shed to interview Bird for our Creators series. Isaac is Bird’s right-hand man. Any time we’d field a question Isaac’s way, he’d think for a moment then give a focused, deliberate answer.
An accomplished logger, Isaac’s style is equally methodical and deliberate, every step intentional. As he explains in the video above, his style comes from a San Diego lineage. From Skip Frye to Devon Howard to Joel Tudor.
