Morgan Cibilic has had an amazing run on the World Surf League’s Championship Tour. He’s had a third, a fifth and a second, eliminated each of those times by one Gabriel Medina. Gabe did, however, give Morgan a huge compliment in one of his post heat interviews when he told the world how much he liked the kid’s surfing.
Australia has been bereft of a world title contender of late. Owen Wright and Julian Wilson just haven’t been able to get it done.
