Ireland is not an easy place to surf. The water is cold, the waves can be heavy, and often, the weather is trying to tell you to go home. But, as is almost always the case, when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Red Bull and Mikey Corker got together to create a three-part series called Made In Ireland. The first installment puts a spotlight on a few of the originals who threw caution to the wind and decided to ride the Emerald Isle’s waves. The second installment looks at the tight-knit crew that charges Mullaghmore at its meanest. Then, in Chapter Three, the series looks at surfers from around the world who fell in love with Ireland’s waves and decided to stay. We’re sure yet if the locals were pleased with that last scenario but we’ll see.
