The Inertia

Drones are annoying. They buzz around lineups, looking for those now-everywhere aerial shots, shooting, for the most part, average things. But every now and then, something incredible happens that no one would ever know about if it weren’t for drones. Take the footage above, for instance.

When a seal starts hunting a large school of fish at Bondi Beach in Sydney, the seal and the surfers in the water force the school to accidentally form a seal shape. While it would have been incredible to share the water with the hunting seal and its prey, no one surfing expected what was actually going on beneath their feet: the school of fish was shape shifting into strange shapes before turning into the same shape as the predator chasing them.
