Described as “impressionist photography,” much of my art lives at the intersection between brush-painting and traditional documentary-style photography. I apply conventional photographic technique to familiar scenes in a way that places mood over detailed subject. My creative inspiration comes from the “being human” experience we all share, the art of interpretation, and the beautiful coastal environment of southern California.
