Traditionally, surfing is usually thought of along with palm trees and warm, salty water. But as wetsuits get better and crowds get thicker, surfers have been moving their search from tropical climes to anywhere with waves. The Great Lakes are one of those places. And while the waves aren’t exactly perfect, Ian Crane finds a fun ones… and you know what? This is what the search is all about.
