Sandy was incredible! I have never caught a hurricane swell before really so to be able to chase Sandy down the coast in Florida was great. When you’re surfing in your own state and the waves are like a world-class surf trip, you really can’t beat that. Some of the waves I saw felt like I was in Indo. It was a really special swell, and I am glad I got to be in town to experience it. Surfing with Shea, Ward, Cory and Peter was super fun and pumped me up for Hawaii coming up. I wish I would have brought my ski to be able to catch more waves, but this was for sure something I will always remember.
