The new south swell (the first significant southern hemi of the season) started to arrive so I headed to Huntington Beach for the morning. Brett Simpson, Kei Kobayashi, Keanu Kamiyama, Sara Freyre and others welcomed the new, peaky swell.
Now if you haven’t been to Huntington Beach in the last 20 years, it’s going to look way different. But one of the things I like about Huntington Beach is the good mix of surfers from beginners to pros. And of course it wouldn’t be a good surf video from the Pier if it didn’t have Brett in it. And a host of other talented surfers.
This south swell looks as though it will hang around for a while so stay tuned.
