Mild-mannered Quiksilver shaper Christiaan Bradley makes sleds for Leo Fioravanti, Jesse Mendes and France’s hot crop of future stars. Originally from Tasmania, he cut his teeth in the shaping bays of the Gold Coast before bouncing around the globe and landing in Hossegor, France as the central gear in the Euroglass factory machine.
In this original series “Wave Pool Board Theory,” we explore Christiaan’s shaping history and get his take on wave pool surfboard designs; how man-made waves will affect the way surfboards are shaped in the future.
