Homemade is a passion project for me that started a little over a year ago when I wanted to get back to my root of inspiration, which was film. We all live in a digital era, of course, and thinking about how beautiful surf films were growing up on 16mm really stuck out to me and honestly inspired me to be a filmmaker. This little project I put together with the help of Andrew Gesler and Dark Fall Productions is just a small representation of everything that has driven me to be the kind of filmmaker I am today. I hope I can inspire others in finding their creative voice in this short piece.
