The first two days of spring on the East Coast provided more swell than the past 90 days of winter. While winter is the season we all froth over the most, spring comes in a close second along the Atlantic to me, and this weekend provided a handful of these empties as evidence.
The sun made a brief appearance to illuminate some textbook East Coast sandbars just before dipping below the horizon, wrapping up a classic, short-lived window of “Good to Epic” conditions with the swell peaking overnight and disappearing by first light the next day.
