Nearly two weeks after the strongest hurricane ever recorded slammed various parts of México, the region has only just begun the recovery process. In Michoacan, the Ostula River overflowed, making countless beach palapas either destroyed or several feet under water. It turned beautiful white sandy beaches into graveyards of disheveled branches, debris, and trash. But as devastating as Patricia was, there was undoubtedly a silver lining in every cloud.
