There are surfers who spend most of their time waiting patiently for Nazaré to turn into something that most people would run away from. Carlos Burle, Garrett McNamara, Pedro Scooby, and Lucas Chumbo, just to name a few. In the last few weeks, their patience has been rewarded. Nazaré has been very big and very scary, which is just the way they like it. Case in point: Wednesday, November 20, when surfers who live for big Nazaré got everything they’ve been waiting for.
