It’s not a secret that Bruce Irons has struggled with more than a few demons. After Andy died, Bruce went through a very dark period–as anyone who loses a brother would–and the surf world watched as one of their favorite sons fell into a spiral. Recently, though, it seems as though he’s straightened out and found his way out of darkness. “Getting to do what you love to do with your friends and being able to make a living out of it… it’s a fucking dream,” he says. “It’s a dream come true.”
