Despite mainstream representations, surfing isn’t all about air reverses and heats on demand, XXL Awards and the latest death defying slab, or breakthroughs in wave pool technologies and composite-epoxy-made-in-Asia-state-of-the-art-computer-cut-high-performance-shred-sleds. Surfing can also be simple. Waves can also be small. Surfboards can be handmade.
“Small Adventures” is a celebration of such ordinary things: sharing waves with good folk, making handcrafted singlefin equipment, riding big boards in tiny waves, trimming and grinning.
