Frenchman Matthieu Blanchard scored this wave somewhere in France, and the width of the thing is pretty mind-blowing. It actually has a section – both a left and right – that looks as though it can be hit or carved to pieces. How would you surf it? The footage comes thanks to Benjamin Lévêque, with an appropriate caption: “At home there are funny frogs who love thunderstorms very much!” Because they fill up the rivers with water and waves like this.
