It’s not often you see John John Florence on a 5’7″. According to Pyzel, his 2022 quiver includes a 5’11” Highline, a 5’11” Shadow, and a 6’0″ Ghost. Sure, he’s got about a million other sizes and different boards he’ll surf on, but 5’7 is pretty small for the world champion. But recently, on a small day at a North Shore sandbar, he took out a tiny little number that was shaped by Pyzel when he was playing with ideas for the Velocity Project. The session was a fun one, and John John was joined by his brothers and Eli Olson for a ridiculously fun-looking afternoon of ridiculously fun-looking waves.
