Tanner Hendrickson announced his presence with authority this summer. He stormed into Huntington and surfed in heats against Luke Davis, Dane Reynolds, Dion Atkinson, Kolohe Andino and Filipe Toledo, just to name a few. At the end of all those heats, Hendrickson advanced, including a nail-biter of a semifinal that ended the run of the defending champ, Toledo. With that said, we all have our eyes on Tanner now. His Vans US Open of Surfing finals appearance thrust him onto the front lines of a 2016 World Tour spot, and that’s reason enough for us all to watch the Hawaiian surfer a little more closely. And the folks that make his surfboards are well aware of this, so they’ve done our homework for us in this video.
