We’re on the eve of the fourth event of the 2024 Championship Tour season: The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach. With the contest window rapidly approaching, the WSL has released a supercut of all nine-point rides at the Rip Curl Pro since 2019.
The event is not only Australia’s oldest surf contest, but one of the longest-running in surfing history, having been held annually for the past 61 years. As such, the edit is also a who’s who of the surfing world. Among the featured surfers are Gabriel Medina, John John Florence, Courtney Conlogue, Kanoa Igarashi, Tyler Wright, João Chianca, Jack Robinson, Filipe Toledo, Griffin Colapinto, and Jackson Baker.
With such a storied history, ringing “The Bell” is one of the great honors in the sport. However, the rip Curl Pro will be make or break for a lot more than just the winners. The mid-season cut is rapidly approaching and many competitors will need to bring their a-game just to make sure they don’t fall on the wrong side of the line.
