Look, there’s Conner Coffin, ending up in Italy after the Portugal event, sitting at Number 10 in the world heading into Pipe. Oh to be young and able to travel Europe, post-event with nary a care in the world, sitting well within the number that would allow him to requalify for the 2019 tour. But Conner more than deserves a break. Kid works his arse off and look again, to wit, there’s Conner, one of the sport’s great young power surfers working on air reverses in the windswell of the Italian coast. Conner definitely makes the low-profile waves of Italy look, well, rather fun and worth traveling for. Especially given the food and wine of the region. Viva Tuscany!
