The Inertia

Not long ago, the World Surf League confirmed the 2024 Championship Tour roster, and the hype train has already left the station. Now, the WSL has released an edit welcoming a cohort of up-and-coming rookies to the competition, as well as a few familiar faces.

Of the 15 qualifiers, eight will be making their Championship Tour debut. Among them are names we’ve seen on the rise for a long time now and have already been predicted to have a huge impact on the Championship Tour Landscape, such as Jackson Bunch, Erin Brooks and Vahine Fierro. Others are longtime favorites making their return to the tour, like Sally Fitzgibbons, Isabella Nichols and Alejo Muniz.
