The Inertia

Editor’s Note: Ah, the many shades of a surf spot. There’s the early morning, dawn patrol glow with sheetglass conditions; the mid-morning offshore howl; the afternoon, long-shadowed onshore air-wind; the evening glass off, sunset serenity. Each day, a surf spot goes through many changes.

Here are some photos by Larisa Cevallos showing Cyclone Victor making its way to hit the Superbank, and all the possible shades that a day on the Gold Coast will exhibit.
