Remember that looping fireplace footage that plays Christmas music on your television for a full 24 hours? This is better. And to be honest, it’s kind of genius.
If anybody were to pull an idea like this off it’d have to be videographer Steve Cummings, who can typically be found at Newport Beach’s biggest attraction any given morning during Southern California’s summer months. It seems like the guy practically lives there so it should be no surprise he collected enough footage throughout 2018 to put together a full four-hour edit with, as he calls it, “the crappiest COPYRIGHT FREE Christmas music you’ve ever heard.”
So here are your options when the family gathers around the tree to open presents on Christmas morning: you could stick to the classics with a Christmas fireplace on your television, complete with crackling logs and warm holiday vibes. Or you could turn on that 24 hours of A Christmas Story marathon — a movie nobody in the history of mankind has actually watched once all the way through, yet has still seen the entire film in mix and match segments. Or now, thanks to this little find, you can rock out some holiday tunes with people getting barreled and wrecked at California’s most oddball wave.
