It’s never good to crash an aircraft anywhere, especially into the ocean. But there’s at last one surfer who’s thankful that a helicopter went down near him. That’s because the helicopter pilot was trying to warn him that a shark was lurking nearby. Billy Ballard was surfing at Wallagoot Beach in New South Wales when he noticed the helicopter flying low to warn him. “A light helicopter crashed trying to warn me about a shark that was swimming around me,” he says into the camera. “Can you f****** believe this?” Billy then rushes to help the crash victims. A wild scene on the NSW coast where everyone thankfully survived.
