There’s something about little surfboards made of foam that makes you want to throw caution to the wind. It seems easier to throw yourself over the ledge on a lightweight, bright pink thing with no sharp edges. You can’t be a serious surfer on one, and you should never be a serious surfer in the first place. Harry Bryant is a very good surfer, but not a serious surfer. Harry Bryant on a 5’5″ Catch Surf foamie has more fun than most people, especially if he’s at the Wedge.
