Greg Long’s pockets are a little heavier and his list of accolades a little longer after his Friday night win at the Billabong XXL Awards. He won Ride of the Year and $50,000 for a monstrous Puerto bomb that most would turn and run from. Of course, because he’s Greg Long, he made it, and he made it look easy. It’s wasn’t. Surprised? “I was almost laughing at myself,” he says. “Just how lucky I was to make it.”
