For the last ten years, a small group of skilled watermen has been chasing big swells around the world. Jason Murray, Quiksilver’s Director of Photography, followed along on their journey, documenting the madness as the surfers challenged nature, themselves, and big wave surfing’s limitations.

This Friday, September 16^th, Goliaths of the Pacific – The Big Wave Hunters is premiering at San Clemente’s Kona Gallery. A photo retrospective by Jason Murray, the show runs from 7:00 pm until midnight, and features Greg Long, Mark Healey, Jamie Mitchell, Rusty Long, Raimana, Peter Mel, Twiggy, and a handful of others riding waves of almost unimaginable size. Mavericks, Jaws, the Cortes Bank, The Yeti, and Teahupoo are only a few of the arenas included in the show.
