Drones are everywhere these days. Like, everywhere. When the waves get really good at certain spots, within a few hours, internet spectators are almost guaranteed a view from the top. It’s a good thing for them, and a bad thing for those who find the droning of drones to be incredibly annoying.
When Jaws breaks–and it has A LOT this winter–the cliff above fills up. And every now and then, a guy shows up on waterskis. It’s a truly amazing spectacle, and one far better than any organized event. There’s something about the few talented enough gathering at a spot with only one thing in mind: not money, not fame, not internet clips… just waves, and big ones.
