Perhaps you’ve heard the news that Gabriel Medina will be returning to the CT at G-Land. He’s taken a few months off, getting his mind and body right after a telling his fans on Instagram that he was mentally exhausted.
“The past few months have been a difficult time for me personally and it has taken a toll,” Medina said at the time. “As such, I’ve decided to withdraw from the start of the 2022 WSL Championship Tour.”
But now, it seems, he’s back. Body and mind are healthy. And that’s not good for the rest of the tour, because Medina is not someone to be trifled with. Recently, the waves in Maresias turned on, and while maybe not as picture perfect as G-Land, they certainly were doing their best impression. And since Medina is getting ready, you can bet he was out there training hard. The Maresias Crew was there to catch his session on camera, and it should strike fear into the hearts of anyone who draws him in a heat.
