France goes off. It’s as simple as that. With over two thousand miles of coastline, there are plenty of incredible waves to satisfy the millions of surfers who flock to them each year. From the throaty barrels of Hossegor to the fabled point of Biarritz, this beautiful region of Europe has it all.
But when you think of France, warm water and picturesque sunsets are not the first things to come to mind. In fact, the majority of France’s waters require thick wetties and other hypothermia-deterring equipment for most of the year. However, Etienne Bellan-Huchery’s latest edit Silver paints a contrasting portrait. Here’s a few French locals enjoying the warm water and glassy barrels before winter sinks its icy teeth into the region come winter time.
