Each year, thousands of images pass through the lens of my camera into my eye, and onto my computer. Surfers use some of these, others are published in print, and others still are available and sold as objects of art.
2014 had many highlights that will not appear here in images–moments with family and friends that can not be expressed as an image, but are captured with my heart and mind. Here are fourteen images that capture the diversity of this year. Three Australian states and three countries later, here they are for your visual enjoyment: one highlight from each month with two additions… because 12 from ’14 just didn’t have the same ring to it.
