Ford Archbold and Christian Fletcher aren’t exactly the norm. It’s a good thing. Christian’s life story is an interesting one–one of surfing’s aerial pioneers, the original fuck-you guy, ex-heroin addict, and the embodiment of metal, Fletcher comes from a family deeply rooted in surfing.
Ford Archbold’s dad, of course, is Matt. Good friends with Christian, the two smashed through the aerial surfing door. Like Christian, Matt lived his whole life teetering on the edge. Drinking, prison, drugs, and hard partying, the ’80s and ’90s were a time of excess for the two. Now, Ford and Christian are doing trips together.
