On October 12, something cool happened: two longboarding world champions were crowned at First Point, Malibu. Joel Tudor and Honolua Blomfield surfed their way to the top of the podium in picture-perfect — but admittedly, not big — Malibu waves.
We’ve got a full rundown of the day right here, but if you’re a highlights kind of person, the World Surf League dropped the two-minute reel you see above. The surfing in it is, as you’d imagine, world class. It’s yet another reminder that First Point Malibu is just about as perfect a wave for longboarding as a wave can get.
