Living in the South Bay of Los Angeles, attempting to film a surf video during the summer months is no easy task. Kyle Brown and I started recording clips after shooting stills for a few months, mainly just to mix things up and potentially put an edit together somewhere down the road. We shot at various breaks from the South Bay to San Diego, but never linked up on epic conditions due to our different schedules. Knowing that I would be moving to Oahu in a few weeks for school, we said screw it and began working with the clips we already had. Although the surf isn’t anything to write home about, we’re stoked on what came of it. And hopefully it will get those feeling the effects from the wave drought get frothed to surf again.
